College Prep is an organization for young people, which meets monthly at St. Stephen, on the 3rd Saturdays at 10:00 am. The programs, which are geared for teens (ages 13 to 18), teach study skills, community service, SAT/ACT college entry exam prep, and present other pertinent topics for college-bound teens. Occasionally, speakers are brought in to explain their professions or teach new concepts. Also, there is a yearly college tour and other local trips to points of interest. Another perk of membership is that scholarship money is provided to graduating high school seniors who are active participants. This is an excellent group to be a part of, and it is open to teens all across the southeastern lower Michigan area. (Ms. Doreen Odom and Ms. Karen Walker; Coordinators)
